- On Saturday, March 5, Deputy Chris Angel, conducted a pedestrian stop in the 7800 block of Limerick. The person was arrested on outstanding warrants out of Coleman County and local felony charges are pending.
- On Sunday, March 6 at about 5:15 a.m., Deputy Byron Langley arrived at the Bangs Hill roadside rest area, located in W US 67 in Brownwood. This was in regard to Public Lewdness. Langley spoke to Bangs Police Chief Robert Garcia who stated he observed a white male wearing a black hoody actively masturbating. Chief Garcia had detained the male about halfway down Bangs Hill. Langley observed the male was not wearing pants or underwear and only had on socks and the black hoody. The male was placed in handcuffs and placed in the back seat of my patrol vehicle. The male refused to cooperate when asked his name and date of birth. The male repeatedly asked if I could just let him go, and the rest area was a hook up spot for sex and he was just masturbating. The male was transported to the Brown County Jail and released to the jail staff.
- On Monday, March 7 around 1:43 p.m., Brown Co. Sheriff’s Office, was dispatched to May. This was in reference to an unattended death. An investigation was done, and report was made.
- On Monday, March 7 at approximately 5 p.m. Sgt. Andre Smoot, was dispatched to Farm to Market Road 1176 for a trespassing call.
- On Tuesday, March 8 at around 11:36 a.m., Deputy Carlyle Gover arrived at El Paso Drive. This was in reference to City of Brownwood workers discovering this residence was stealing water from the city. After further investigation, a report was made.
- On Tuesday, March 8 around 12:39 p.m., Deputy Kenny Nabers, located an abandon vehicle at the intersection East US 377 and South Broadway St. The vehicle had already been previously tagged as abounded. The vehicle was towed by Welch Bros. Towing and stored at Stephen F. Austin.
- On Tuesday, March 8 at around 2:18 p.m. Deputy Carlyle Gover arrived at the intersection on FM 2492 and CR 103. This was in reference to a passerby observing two calf carcasses in the bar ditch. After further investigation, a report was made.
- On Tuesday March 8 at approximately 8:59 p.m. Brown County Sheriff’s Office was notified of an unattended death at. An investigation was conducted, and a report will follow.
