DUBLIN – Four Early Lady Horns qualified for the state powerlifting based on their performances Thursday at the regional meet.

Hannah Middleton won the 114-pound weight class with total weight of 665 pounds lifted.

Alexa Hernandez captured first place in the 143s with 755 pounds lifted.

Danielle Alcorta was the top lifter in the 148s with 825 pounds left.

Alyna Celedon placed second in the 181s to earn a state berth, lifting a total of 910 pounds.

Mattyson Boswell also competed at the regional meet and came in fourth in the 114s with 655 pounds lifted.

The state meet will take place March 16-19 in Corpus Christi, with the Class 3A portion of the meet slated for Thursday, March 17.
