The Richland Springs Lady Coyotes are advancing to the Region III-A tournament for the first time since 1995 with a 51-29 regional quarterfinals victory over Lingleville Tuesday night in Brownwood.

The Lady Coyotes will face Slidell at 7 p.m. Friday at Mansfield Legacy with a berth in Saturday’s 2 p.m. regional championship game against either Huckabay or Dodd City at stake.

Also Tuesday, the Richland Springs Coyotes earned a 72-27 bi-district championship victory over Gustine, also in Brownwood.
