The Brown County Elections Office reported Friday that 17 Democratic and 323 Republican Primary early voting ballots were cast, for a total of 340 – the highest single-day vote tally thus far. For the week, 1,296 ballots were cast – 1,249 for Republicans and 47 Democrats.
Due to Monday being a federal holiday, early voting resumes Tuesday, Feb. 22 and continues through Friday. Feb. 25. Hours Tuesday and Wednesday are 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. and hours Thursday and Friday are 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. Votes may be cast at the Brown County Elections Office, located at 613 N. Fisk.
