The District 6-4A front-running Brownwood Lions remained undefeated in league play, completing a season sweep of Stephenville with an 83-61 triumph at Warren Gym Tuesday night.
The Lions (22-7, 6-0) have already clinched a playoff spot and are inching closer to a district championship, which they can secure no worse than a share of with a win at home against Glen Rose at 7 p.m. Friday.
In the victory over Stephenville (6-22, 0-7), the Lions led 22-13 after one quarter, 40-31 at halftime, and 70-47 through three frames.
Jakob Hataway again led the charge with 28 points trailed by Luke Moss and Bryson Monroe with 21 apiece, Weston Burns and Tristan Salinas with six each, Thad Hinds with five, and Hayden Noe and Ike Hall with two points apiece.
