Paul Emerson Helmuth, age 76, of Rising Star passed away January 26, 2022. The family will host a celebration of life for Paul at 2:00PM on Saturday February 12, 2022 at the Second Chance Cowboy Church in Clyde, TX.

Paul was born to Evelyn and Emmerson Helmuth on July 12, 1945 in Ontario, Canada. He traveled all across the United States as a truck driver for many years. Paul married Patricia Cotter Leslie Helmuth on April 19, 2012 in Comanche.

Paul is survived by his wife, Patricia Cotter Leslie Helmuth; children, Brian Helmuth, Rodney Helmuth and wife Amy Jo, Judy Claypool and husband Gill, Vernon Leslie and wife Rhonda, Jay Leslie and wife Tammy; siblings Jerry Helmuth and wife Brenda, Grace Brown and husband David, and Carol Greene and husband Jerry; 13 grandchildren; and 14 great-grandchildren. Paul is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews and a host of friends.

He is preceded in death by his parents, and 2 grandchildren.
