SALADO – The Brownwood Lady Lions bounced back from a pair of Thursday losses at the Salado tournament with a tie Friday against China Spring, 1-1.

The lone goal for Brownwood (4-2-2) was scored by Kennedi Johnson on an assist from Watts Jones.

Due to a 0-2-1 tournament record, Brownwood did not qualify for Saturday’s seeding games.

The Lady Lions will return to action at 6 p.m. Friday, Jan. 28 at San Angelo Lake View.
