EULA – The Early Lady Horns came up short in their first outing at the Eula basketball tournament Monday, falling by a 58-38 count to Class A No. 15 Hermleigh, 58-38.
Early trailed 15-8 after one quarter, 23-18 at halftime, and 47-25 through three periods.
Carrigan Norris scored 14 points for Early followed by six from Averey Horton, five from Jordan Simmons, four from Dana Lykes, and two each from Taylor Summers, Madison Torrez, and Trinity Torrez.
The Lady Horns (7-9) will be back in action at noon Tuesday against Class A No. 2 Huckabay.
