The Lions (12-5) – who were averaging 82 point per game and tallied 99 Monday in a 25-point home win over Coleman – had scored no fewer than 57 points, that coming in the season opener.
Against Snyder (6-10), the Lions led by a 15-13 count after one quarter, but fell behind 28-24 at halftime. Snyder stretched the lead to 46-34 through three frames, and further expanded the lead over the final eight minutes.
Thad Hinds was the lone Lion to finish in double figures, tallying 11 points. Jakob Hataway, Christian Kinzler and Luke Moss contributed eight points apiece, Bryson Monroe finished with seven and Weston Burns chipped in two points.
For Snyder, Eber Murillo poured in 39 points followed by Dyllan Angeley with 13.
The Lions will resume their season at the TexasBank Holiday Classic Dec 28-30.
