Lady Horns move to 2-0 in district, Lady Dragons fall to 0-2

EARLY – The Early Lady Horns improved to 2-0 in District 8-3A girls basketball action and 7-7 overall with a 59-30 home victory over Comanche Friday night.

Early led 10-7 after one quarter, 23-13 at halftime, and 46-23 through three periods.

Taylor Summers led the Lady Horns with 14 points followed by Dana Lykes with 10, Caroline Welker with eight, Carrigan Norris and Madison Torrez with seven each, Jordan Simmons with five, and Jodie Lykes and Averey Horton with four points each.

The Lady Horns will visit Millsap at 12:15 p.m. Tuesday.

Dublin 36, Lady Dragons 20

DUBLIN – The Bangs Lady Dragons slipped to 0-2 in District 8-3A action and 6-10 for the season with a 36-20 road loss to Dublin Friday night.

Further information was not available.

Bangs will be back in action at 6:15 p.m. Tuesday at Comanche.
