In the March 2022 Republican Primary, there will be five contested races – Brown County Judge, Precinct 2 County Commissioner, Precinct 4 County Commissioner, Precinct 3 Justice of the Peace and Precinct 4 Justice of the Peace.

In the Brown County Democratic Primary, the only candidate to file was Democratic Party Chairman Mike Bullard (I).
