Lovanda Jean Conley, age 82, of Early, Texas passed from this life to the arms of Jesus on Friday, December 10, 2021 at Hendrick Medical Center-Brownwood.
Services will be Thursday at 11 a.m. at Coleman City Cemetery Pavilion. Interment will follow with services under the care of Henderson Funeral Home staff.
Lovanda was born October 2, 1939 in Clyde, Texas to Richard and Bonnie Sanders Summers. Her family moved to Coleman County where she was raised attending the Gouldbusk Schools and graduating from Coleman High School. On October 15, 1954 Lovanda married the love of her life Clyde Raymond Conley on October 15, 1954 in Abilene, Texas and they celebrated 59 years of marriage. Clyde preceded her in death in 2014.
Lovanda and Clyde resided in Coleman until moving to Early in 1991. She was a member of the Baptist Church and enjoyed crocheting, bingo, family activities and her school bus kids. She worked at Owl Drug and upon moving to Early, was a bus driver with Early ISD.
Survivors include Son – Raymond Wayne & wife Annett Conley of Brownwood, Texas; 2 Granddaughters – Angela Righi of Abilene, Texas, Cherri Conley of Brownwood, Texas; Grandson – Steven Wayne Conley of Abilene, Texas; Great Granddaughters – Sarah & Hannnah Righi; Great Grandson – Connor Righi; 3; Brothers – Donald Lancaster of Waco, Texas, Robert Lancaster of Meeker Co., Texas, Parker Lancaster of Burlison, TN; and Numerous Nieces and Nephews
Lovanda was preceded in death by 3 Sisters Bertha Summers, Shirley Wristen and Sheila Lancaster; 2 Brothers Lester Lancaster and Burt Lancaster.
