BALLINGER – The Brownwood Lions stretched their win streak to six games with a 97-44 triumph over the San Angelo Central JV Friday in Ballinger boys basketball tournament action.
Brownwood (8-3) led 26-12 after one quarter, 44-22 at halftime, and 71-35 through three frames.
Four Lions finished in doubles figures – Christian Kinzler with 17 points, Luke Moss and Ike Hall with 14 apiece, and Jakob Hataway with 13 points. Also scoring for Brownwood were Bryson Monroe with nine points, Tristan Salinas and Seth Oines with eight each and Thad Hinds with four points.
The Lions will face Anson at 5:30 p.m. today and Coleman at 8:30 a.m. Saturday to wrap up tournament action.
