- On Thursday, December 2 at about 9:12 a.m., Deputy Byron Langley, spoke by phone with a victim who stated someone had hit his boat trailer parked in front of his residence located at CR 611 in Brownwood.
- On Friday, December 3, Sgt. Andre Smoot responded to a theft of windmill call. Pertinent information was gathered, and a report was completed for further investigation.
- On Saturday, December 4, Sgt. Andre Smoot responded to a call referencing theft of a memorial wreath. Information was gathered and a report was completed for further investigation.
- On Saturday, December 4, Sgt. Andre Smoot responded to an address regarding mail theft. Pertinent information was gathered, and a report was completed for further investigation.
- On Sunday, December 5, Deputy Toby Mathis initiated a traffic stop on a passenger car for a defective headlight. The driver was identified and did not have a valid driver’s license and did not have proof of insurance for the vehicle. The driver was placed in custody for Driving While License Invalid.
- On Sunday, December 5 at approximately 8:36 p.m., Deputy Nicolas A. Wood was notified of a domestic disturbance, which had occurred at CR 156 in Bangs. An investigation was conducted.
- On Monday, December 6, Deputy Joe Thomas #125, was dispatched to the Hendrick Medical Center Brownwood Emergency Room. This was in reference to a report of an Animal Bite. A report was made.
- On Monday, December 6, Deputy Chris Angel, responded to Tamarack Drive. This was in reference to a theft of a trailer. A report was taken, and an investigation is underway.
- On Monday, December 6 at about 7:54 p.m., Deputy Byron Langley spoke with a victim by phone who stated his ex-wife is refusing to let him see his children.
- On Monday, December 6, Lt. Pete Bastardo spoke with an individual in regard to theft of firearms from 6900 FM 1176. Information was gathered and a report was taken from Rice. There are no known suspects in this case.
- On Tuesday, December 7, Deputy Chris Angel assisted Mills County in a vehicle pursuit, which ended in Brown County. The driver was placed under arrest for Evading Arrest or Detention with a Vehicle and Possession of Marijuana less than 2 ounces. Miller was released to the on-duty jailers and booked into the Brown County Jail.
- On Tuesday, December 7, 2021, Lt. Pete Bastardo spoke with an individual in regard to a stolen firearm. The individual advised it had been two years since he had last seen the firearm and decided to report it now as stolen. Information was gathered and a report was taken from the individual.
- On Wednesday, December 8 at approximately 1:36 p.m., Deputy Nicolas A. Wood was notified of a scam, which had occurred in the county. An investigation was conducted
- On Wednesday, December 8 at around 6:06 p.m. Deputy Carlyle Gover arrived at Highway 279. This was in reference to key’s being missing from the property a month prior. After further investigation, a report was made.
- On Thursday, December 9, Deputy Jim Cornelius with the Brown County Sheriff’s Office, was assigned a Call for Service at the Law Enforcement Center. A complainant reported the theft of an Andersen fifth wheel Kingpin valued at $265.
- On Thursday, December 9, Deputy Chris Angel, was dispatched to East Kyle Street, Bangs, Texas. This was in reference to suspicious activity. Deputy Angel located an female in the alley behind the residence. The female was found to be intoxicated and in possession of drug paraphernalia. The female was placed under arrest and booked into the Brown County Jail for Public Intoxication and Possession of Drug.
- On Thursday, December 9 at approximately 11:40 a.m., Deputy Nicolas A. Wood was notified of a theft, which occurred on a boat being stored at 6723 SH 279. An investigation was conducted.
- On Thursday, December 9 Deputy Toby Mathis, spoke with an individual in reference to his mailbox being damaged. Information was gathered and a report was made.
- On Friday, December 10, Deputy Chris Angel, was flagged down by a citizen in reference to a chainsaw found in the roadway in the 100-block East Hall in the city of Bangs. The owner was located, and the chainsaw was returned.
- On Friday, December 10 at around 2:15 a.m. Deputy Carlyle Gover and Sgt. Andre Smoot arrived at the intersection of FM 1467 and CR 360. This was in reference to a caller observing a white male in the middle of the road getting in front of the vehicle. After attempting to detain the male, he evaded detention and resisted arrest. It was also discovered the male was wanted out of Coleman County. The male also had a needle on him, which tested positive for methamphetamine. The male was arrested for Evading, Resisting Arrest, Possession of a Controlled Substance PG1 <1G, and the Coleman County Warrant.
