LORENA – The Brownwood Lady Lions dropped their finale at the Lorena tournament Saturday morning to Robinson, 36-31, in overtime to conclude a 1-3 weekend stay.
Brownwood (9-5) trailed Robinson (2-7) by a 6-5 count after one quarter, led 13-10 at halftime, faced a 20-19 deficit through three periods, and the score was deadlocked at 24 at the end of regulation.
The Lady Lions shot just 26 percent (11 of 43) from the field, missed all 10 of its three-point attempts and converted only 34 percent (9 of 26) of its free throw opportunities. Brownwood also committed 23 turnovers.
Tessa Goodwin finished with 15 points for Brownwood, Jaylen Savage added nine, Mady Pyle chipped in four points and Kynslee Walker tallied three.
For Robinson, Anieya Heard led the charge with 10 points.
The Lady Lions are back in action at 6:30 p.m. Tuesday as they host Coleman.
