DUBLIN – The Brownwood Lions rebounded from a three-point loss to Tolar in Thursday’s first game at the Dublin tournament with a 93-69 triumph over host Dublin Thursday night.
The Lions (3-3) trailed Dublin (1-2) by a 21-17 count after one quarter, led 46-34 at halftime, and took a 64-48 lead into the fourth quarter.
Luke Moss led Brownwood with 27 points followed by Bryson Monroe with 20, Jakob Hataway with 19, Christian Kinzler with 12, Weston Burns with eight, Seth Oines with three, and Ike Hall and Tristan Salinas with two points each.
Dublin received a team-high 16 points from Ayush Patel.
The Lions will face Hamilton at 6:30 p..m. Friday as tournament action resumes.
