In the last seven days, the Brownwood/Brown County Health Department received 38 positive COVID-19 test results. Of the 38 positives this week, 19 were PCR, and 19 were antigen. Of the total number of cases reported this week, 8 cases met the breakthrough definition. This includes asymptomatic, mild symptoms, and severe symptom breakthrough cases. There are 6 people currently hospitalized in Brown County for COVID-19. No new deaths have been reported this week.

The Brownwood-Brown County Health Department is offering free COVID-19 vaccinations to all youth ages 5 years or older and adults age 18 years old or older.
