Bobby Jack Seale, age 87, of Brownwood, passed away Friday, November 13, 2021at the Bangs Nursing Home with his loving family by his side.
He was born February 14, 1934, in Coleman County, the son of James Roy and Della Audra (Cook) Seale. He graduated from Howard Payne University with a Bachelor’s degree in education and taught for several years at Brookesmith. He married Sheila Hoffman in Brownwood on April 16, 1965. He then went to work for Southwestern States Telephone Company and later worked for Santa Fe/BNSF railroads for over 30 years. Following retirement, he worked as a consultant for the railroad. He was an avid golfer and served as the manager of the Brownwood Country Club retiring in 2013. He was a member of the Coggin Ave. Baptist Church and served in the National Guard for six years.
He is survived by his wife, Sheila Seale of Brownwood, his son, Todd Steale and wife Gina of Colorado Springs, Colorado, a brother, Donnie Steale of Brownwood, three grandchildren, Zachery Haley of Austin, Collin Seale and wife Lindsay of London, England, and Cameron Seale and wife Caroline of Lubbock, and four great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents and a brother, Dicky Seale.
Funeral services will be held at 11 am Thursday, November 18, at the Davis-Morris Chapel of Heritage Funeral Home in Brownwood with Rev. Richard Jackson officiating. Burial will follow in the Eastlawn Memorial Park in Early.
