Mike was born on Tuesday, August 26, 1952 in Coleman, Texas to Tim and Leona Beal. He graduated from Blanket High School, and attended Cisco Jr. College where he received his Plumber License. Mike married Debbie Kelley on August 31, 1972 and began a life together that blessed them with three children. He retired from Zephyr Water Supply in 2021, but he really never retired. Staying busy doing small jobs here and there, Mike was always working. Sometimes the family would go looking for him, and would find him in a field out in the middle of nowhere trimming trees for no reason at all. Mike was the type to never sit still, he always had to be up doing something. He was a hardworking family man that enjoyed fishing, hunting and most of all birthday dinners with his family. Mike was a great husband, father, grandfather and friend.

Mike passed away on Thursday, November 11, 2021 peacefully at his home in Owens.

Mike is survived by his wife of 49 years, Debbie Beal; daughters, Stacy Schwab and husband Jacob, Crystal Moore and husband Thomas; son Cody Beal and wife Ashley; 6 grandchildren, Jason and Joshua Schwab, Jonathan Guess, Noah Ballestreros, Parker Beal and Emma Moore; sister Pam Lake and husband Robert; last but not least his fury baby, Sadie.

He is preceded in death by his parents, Tim Beal and Leona Boler; and sister Debra Sikes.

A visitation will be held from 6 to 8 PM on Tuesday, November 16th at Heartland Funeral Home. Celebration of Life Service will be at 2:00 PM Wednesday in the Heartland Funeral Home Chapel with burial to follow at the Heflin Cemetery.

Online condolences, memories and tributes can be made to the family at www.heartlandfuneralhome.net.
