According to District Attorney, Micheal Murray, felony cases were recently heard in Brown/Mills County District Court, Judge Mike Smith, presiding.

• Kristopher Allen Roe pled guilty to two separate felony offenses of Failure to Register as Sex Offender with Prior Conviction, Forgery and Fraudulent Use/Possession of Identifying Information and was sentenced to 20 years, Texas Department of Criminal Justice, Institutional Division.
• Dakota Michael Cross pled guilty to the felony offenses of Robbery and Assault Family Violence – Occlusion and was sentenced to 15 years, Texas Department of Criminal Justice, Institutional Division.
• Dannell Robles pled guilty to the felony offense of Delivery of a Controlled Substance-Drug Free Zone and was sentenced to 10 years, Texas Department of Criminal Justice, Institutional Division.
