Making their first postseason appearance in the program’s brief five-year history, the District 8-A third seed Zephyr Lady Bulldogs dropped a 25-13, 25-4, 25-7 decision to District 7-A runner-up Veribest Tuesday night at Brownwood’s Warren Gym in volleyball bi-district playoff action.

In order to qualify for the playoffs, Zephyr last week defeated Mullin in three sets and Rochelle in four sets in a three-team playoff in Brownwood for the third playoff seed.
