BANGS – The Bangs Lady Dragons fell in straight sets to playoff-bound Brock in District 8-3A volleyball action Tuesday night.

Bangs (12-15, 2-10) received seven kills from Maggie Morales, four from Jacee Miller, three from Jadyn Miller, two from Wipada Pakaew, and one apiece from Rachel Solis and Neeley Bradley.

Hadley King distributed nine assists while Laynie Evans added eight.

Morales and Julianna Ethridge served aces against Brock (22-11, 11-1).

Defensively, Jacee Miller led the way with 17 digs followed by Raylee Hutchins with four, Joey Newton, McKenzie Hughes and Kasey Solis with three apiece, Ethridge, King and Jadyn Miller with two each, and Bradley, Pakaew and Rachel Solis each with one.

At the net, Morales and Pakaew registered blocks.

The Lady Dragons wrap up their season at Eastland at 11 a.m. Saturday and at Millsap at 5:30 p.m. Tuesday.
