The Brownwood Lions finished second in the 36-hole Badger Golf Fall Classic, hosted by Lampasas High, with action at Hancock Park in Lampasas Friday and Delaware Springs in Burnet Saturday.
The Lions carded a 668 composite score which trailed only Class 6A Belton (623).
Sir Bubba Jones placed fifth to pace the Brownwood effort with a 157 total following rounds of 77 and 80. Hudson Reagan shot a 161 with rounds of 82 and 79, followed by Ethan Waldrop with a 173 off rounds of 80 and 93, Caleb Modawell with a 182 following rounds of 93 and 89, and Liam McNeese with a 185 after rounds of 88 and 97.
The low score of the tournament belonged to Marble Falls’ Blake Turner, who posted a 145 with rounds of 75 and 70.
