Since Friday, September 17th, the Brownwood-Brown County Health Department has received an additional 142 new positive COVID-19 test results. There are currently 19 people currently hospitalized in Brown County for COVID-19.

Hendrick Medical Center Brownwood is operating a screening clinic with no cost testing. Individuals should text “covidhelp” to 325-216-4824 to utilize this service.

COVID-19 vaccinations are available at no cost at the Health Department at 510 E. Lee Street Monday-Friday from 8:30 to 11:30 a.m. and 1:30 to 4:45 p.m.
