- On Tuesday, September 7, Deputy Toby Mathis, responded to Hwy 279. This was for a report of people inside a vacant residence taking items out. Deputies arrived and contacted the two persons inside the residence. The two persons did not have permission to be on the property or to remove items. Both were placed in custody for Burglary of Habitation and transported to the Brown County Jail.
- On Friday, September 10, Deputy Mason Fabbiani was notified of a dog bite victim at a clinic in Brownwood. The subject was bit on September 7 while running on County Road 292. A report has been made.
- On Friday, September 10, Sgt. Taylor Fletcher, stopped with a parking violation at 10 Mile Crossing. Fletcher found the driver to be in possession of multiple firearms, in plain view, and I smelled the odor of marijuana emitting from his van. A glass pipe with meth residue and 2.9 grams of marijuana were also found in the van, all which the driver claimed possession of. He was arrested.
- On Saturday, September 11, Deputy Andre Smoot responded to a burglary not in progress call. Deputy Smoot arrived on scene and gathered pertinent information on the call, and a report was completed.
- On Saturday, September 11, at around 9:14 p.m. Sgt. Taylor Fletcher, responded to a report of a car parked in the road with no lights on in the dark at CR 134 and Highway 279. The driver was subsequently arrested for DWI.
- On Saturday, September 11, Deputy Toby Mathis, spoke to a complainant in regard to her vehicle being stolen. The complainant reported a suspect took her vehicle without permission. Through the investigation Mathis learned the vehicle was at the complainant’s parent’s residence. Information was gathered and a report was made.
- On Sunday, September 12, Deputy Andre Smoot responded to a disturbance. Once on scene, the complainant was no longer there. The complainant was later located, but wouldn’t speak to me about the incident. A report was completed on the limited information, which was provided so far.
- On Sunday, September 12 at approximately 2:38 p.m., a complainant reported items had been stolen from her vehicle and off her vehicle, which had been parked in the back lot of her property of US Highway 183 North. It is believed the theft/burglary occurred sometime between September 5, 2021, and September 9, 2021.
- On Sunday, September 12 Deputy Toby Mathis, responded to FM 1850. This was for a report of a domestic in progress involving a knife. A male reported his wife had assaulted him with a knife. Deputies arrived and took the female into custody after she resisted arrest.
- On Sunday, September 12 at approximately 10 p.m., a victim reported he had been assaulted by a family member at a residence in the E US Highway 377. The family member was identified as , who was then was arrested for the offense of Assault Causes Bodily Injury Family Violence. The victim was transported to the Brown County Jail where he was turned over to the care and custody of Brown County Jail Staff.
- On Monday, September 13 at about 11:28 a.m., Deputy Byron Langley arrived at N US 183 in Early. This was in regard to an animal complaint. Langley spoke with the complainant, who stated her former tenants had left a dog at the residence, after moving out about three weeks ago.
- On Monday, September 13 at around 1:01 p.m. Deputy Carlyle Gover responded to the Bangs High School. This was in reference to two students fighting. After speaking to both parties, the students were released from school, and a report was made.
