The Bangs Lady Dragons swept the Comanche Maidens Tuesday night to earn their first District 8-3A volleyball victory of the season.

Offensively, Maggie Morales paced the Lady Dragons with 10 kills trailed by Jadyn Miller with six, Jacee Miller with five, Kasey Solis with three, and Wipada Pakaew with one.

Hadley King dished out 10 assists followed by five from Neeley Bradley and three from Laynie Evans.

Jadyn Miller served four aces, King added two and Bradley, Morales, Jacee Miller and Julianna Ethridge chipped in one each.

Defensively, Jacee Miller led the way with 14 digs followed by King with 13, Raylee Hutchins with 11, McKenzie Hughes with six, Bradley with four, Ethridge and Morales with three each, Pakaew and Jadyn Miller with two apiece and Solis and Joey Newton both with one.

Morales registered two blocks while Jadyn Miller and Solis each added one.

Bangs (11-6, 1-1) will be back in action at noon Saturday as it hosts Dublin.
