Olga Guerrero

Olga Guerrero, age 65, of Coleman, died Monday, August 30, 2021, at Coleman County Medical Center.

The family will host a visitation from 6:00 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. Wednesday, September 1, 2021, at Stevens Funeral Home Chapel. Family and friends are invited to a funeral service at 11:00 a.m. Thursday, September 2, 2021, at Stevens Funeral Home Chapel. Interment will follow in the Santa Anna Cemetery. Services are entrusted to Stevens Funeral Home, 400 W. Pecan Street, in Coleman.

Olga was born January 30, 1956, in San Antonio to Juan Nanranjo Guerrero and Concha Vasquez Guerrero. She attended school at Mozelle. Olga married Bennie Guerrero on June 22, 1974, in Coleman. He preceded her in death on August 21, 2021. She was a home health aide for Girling Home Health for many years. Olga was also a wonderful homemaker taking care of her children while Benny was working on the railroad.

Olga enjoyed looking for arrowheads and spending time with her family. She also enjoyed collecting China pieces, drawing, singing, and dancing with her beloved Benny. Olga and Benny loved their grandchildren. They always made time for them in their daily activities. Olga was an expert gardener and loved reading scriptures from the Bible.

Olga is also preceded in death by her parents; one brother, Robert Guerrero; and one sister, Mary Jane Capuchin.

She is survived by her children, Benny Guerrero of San Angelo, Chris Guerrero and wife Crystal of Coleman, and Priscilla Cervantes and husband Estaban of Coleman; three grandchildren, Jorge Jimenez, Estaban Cervantes, Jr., and Eliana Cervantes; three sisters, Susie De Leon and husband Arthur of Coleman, Silvia De Leon of Santa Anna, and Ora Lewis and husband Cameron of Talpa; and two brothers, Juan Guerrero, Jr. and wife Jean of Abilene and Rudy Guerrero and wife Vicky of Comanche.

The family has requested that if you are feeling ill to please stay home.  At the family’s request, those attending the funeral must wear a mask and please maintain social distancing including handshakes and hugs.
