- On Thursday, August 26 at about 10:54 a.m. Deputy Byron Langley arrived at CR 619 in Blanket. This was in regard to criminal mischief. Langley spoke with a victim who stated her friend and the friend’s husband lived in her residence. She advised they caused damage to the residence when they moved out.
- On Friday, August 27 a complainant requested a trespass warning be issued to two individuals for an address on County Road 619 in Blanket. Suspects have been identified, but have not been located to issue said trespass warning.
- On Saturday, August 28 at approximately 6:10 a.m. Deputy Greg Parrott respond to the Allsup’s in Bangs. This was regarding a dog bite complaint. Upon arrival, Parrott learned the complainant had been bitten by a pit-bulldog while riding his bicycle to work. This bite caused injury to his left calf. Parrott later discovered who owned the pit-bulldog. Parrott advised the owner he must quarantine his dog, and Parrott would be pursuing a declaration of dangerous dog against his animal.
- On Saturday, August 28 Deputy Toby Mathis responded to Shady Oaks Dr. This was for a report of a prowler knocking on caller’s door. Mathis was advised the identity of the prowler, who is known to carry a firearm. Mathis arrived and contacted the suspect who was detained. Mathis observed a strong smell of alcohol coming from the suspect, who admitted to driving to get to the residence. He was determined too intoxicated to operate a motor vehicle. The suspect was placed in custody for Driving While Intoxicated.
- On Sunday, August 29 Deputy Mason Fabbiani was notified of missing livestock on Country Oaks Lane. The longhorn was later located and returned. A report has been made.
- On Sunday, August 29 at around 3:45 a.m. Sgt. Taylor Fletcher responded to a report of a female needing a ride at CR 257. Upon meeting with the female, Fletcher learned she had been assaulted by her boyfriend and left stranded on foot. Fletcher investigated the assault claims and transported the female to Comanche County. A report was made.
- On Sunday, August 29 Deputy Toby Mathis, along with other deputies, responded to Shawnee Dr. This was for a report of a male subject chasing people with a baseball bat. Deputies arrived and spoke with the victim, who said his dad attempted to hit him with the bat before leaving the scene when law enforcement was called. Information was gathered and a report was made.
