BRONTE – The Early Lady Horns won the consolation championship at the Bronte volleyball tournament Saturday, posting a 2-1 record.

Early – which dropped pool play games Friday to Vernon, Water Valley and Wink – on Saturday fell to Harper 25-12, 25-9 before rallying to upend Bronte 25-23, 25-18 and Water Valley 15-25, 25-19, 25-21.

The Lady Horns (7-10) will be back in action at 6 p.m. Tuesday as they host Zephyr.
