Roxanne Laurel Hanlin, age 75 of Brownwood passed away Friday, August 20, 2021 at a local nursing home. Graveside services will be held 10 AM Friday, August 27, 2021 at Greenleaf Cemetery, with Benny Allcorn officiating. Heritage Funeral Home Davis-Morris Chapel is in charge of arrangements.
Roxanne was born July 19, 1946 in Adelle, Wisconsin, the daughter of the late Cliford Bunyea and Ellen Kickerbocker Bunyea. Roxanne was a member of the Assembly of God Church. She enjoyed sewing, cooking, needlepoint, crocheting and knitting. She has many friends in Brownwood and moved here when the new Kohler plant opened from Wisconsin.
Survivors include: Jenna Cole (Joe) of Arlington, Roxanne Flores (Chuck Marcell) of Cedar Hill, Barbara Ann Buckner (William) of Tennesse, Angelita Lopez Romero of Bastro, Lucinda Dietert of San Antonio, Randall Garcia of North Richland Hill, Tony Atanacio (Lisa) of San Angel, Diana Hinkle of Longvie, Deborah Escobar of Hurs, Roberto Casarez (Lou) of La Feria; Sister: Bonnie Schiefelbein of Kewaskum, Wisconsin ; Special friend: Ernest Willborn; 30 grandchildren; Numerous great grandchildren
She married Russell Hanlin and he preceded her in death. She was also preceded in death by step son Joel Garcia and brother Bruce
