Melissa Ann (Head) Sliger, 62, of Waco originally from Brownwood, passed away Friday, August 13, 2021. A Graveside service will be held 2:00 PM, Saturday, August 21, 2021 at Eastlawn Memorial Park in Early, Texas.

Melissa Ann (Head) Sliger was born December 14, 1958 Riverside, California to Charles Donald and Connie Jo Head. She lived in Brownwood for most of her life, but graduated from Waco High School. Melissa liked to sew, read books and watch football. She was a caring person who always tried to take care of everyone she knew but here passion was her family, She was a loving mother and grandmother.

Those left behind to cherish her memory are her son, Kevin; and grandchildren, Alexander (AJ), Zachary (Zach), Trevor and Hailey, all of Brownwood; her brother Don Head of Waco; as well as numerous cousins, nieces, nephews and friends.

Melissa is preceded in death by her father & mother; brother, Jimmy Head; husband, Jerry Dean Sliger; daughter, Tonya Rene Sliger and her grandparents.
