Eddie Holden

Eddie Holden, age 83, passed away on Thursday, August 12, 2021 in Comanche, Texas.

Eddie was born on September 24, 1937, in Gustine, Texas to Balvin Claud Holden and Linda (Thompson). He was united in marriage to Pat Clay on May 17, 1968 in Comanche, Texas. Eddie served in the Army National Guard and was a shift supervisor at ADM Peanut Company. Eddie loved hunting, fishing, watching his cows, and seeing the hummingbirds gather outside.

He is survived by his wife, Pat Holden of Comanche; three sons, Brent Holden of Rising Star, Kerry Holden and wife, Toni, of TomBall, Brian Holden and wife, Tanya, of Comanche; grandchildren, Tristan Holden, Brianna and Randy Leach, Hailey and Lance Buster, Hanna and Sean Ayers, Destiny and Mason Spivey, Ashton and Sebastian Lopez, Josh and Cristan Newton, Adam Holden, Bradley Theriot, Nikki, Sean, Cheyanne, Heather; great-grandchildren, Emma Leach, Tyler Leach, Ava Leach, Tori Buster, Becca Buster, Noah Lopez, Matteo Lopez, Kaylee, Andrew, and Lane; sister Brona Brown of Coleman; and sister-in-law, Sue Holden of Rosenberg.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Balvin Claud and Linda Holden; brothers, Jack, Pete, Lynn, and Rickey Holden; sister, Ginger Shaffer; son, Mike; and granddaughter, Alishsa.

Family will receive friends at Comanche Funeral Home on Saturday, August 14, 2021, from 6:00 P.M. until 8:00 P.M.

Funeral Services will be at 2:00 P.M. Sunday, August 15, 2021, in Comanche Funeral Home Chapel with Harold Higginbotham officiating. Condolences may be offered on line at www.comanchefh.com

If desired, memorials may be made to First Baptist Church 407 N. Houston Comanche, Texas 76442.
