Since Friday, August 6th, the Brownwood/Brown County Health Department received 93 positive COVID-19 test results. There are 16 people currently hospitalized in Brown County for COVID-19.

Hendrick is operating the screening clinic again and offering no cost testing. Individuals should text “covidhelp” to 325-216-4824 to utilize this service.

The Brownwood-Brown County Health Department is offering COVID-19 vaccinations to all youth ages 12 years or older and adults age 18 years old or older. Vaccinations are available by appointment at the Health Department. Please call 325-646-0554 to schedule an appointment for a vaccine. There is no charge or fee for the COVID-19 vaccine.
