Charles “Webb” Myers, age 88, passed away on August 1st, 2021. Graveside services will be held Friday, August 6th, at 1 pm at Eastlawn Memorial Park in Early, under the direction of Heartland Funeral Home.
Webb was born August 30th, 1932 in Arab, Missouri to Charles and Lula Myers. He graduated from Lutesville high school in Lutesville, Missouri in 1950.
Webb was a very hard worker, always providing for his family and willing to help a friend in need. His hard work earned him a District Manager position with International Harvester for 31 years, a Fleet Manager position with UPS Truck Leasing, and Transportation Director for Brownwood ISD. He enjoyed watching baseball and football, as well as old westerns. He liked attending live sporting events, particularly St. Louis Cardinals and Texas Rangers ballgames.
He designed and built 3 houses with his own two hands, as well as several barns, from the ground up. He could also fix just about anything that needed to be fixed, particularly engines. He always put the needs of his family first.
He was a member of Northridge Baptist Church, in Early, TX, where he served numerous roles, including treasurer.
Webb is survived by his loving wife of 40 years Jeanene Myers of Blanket; his son Larry Myers and wife Teri of Arnold, MO; 3 daughters, Karen Barlow of Marble Hill, MO, Jodi Myers and husband Chad Colbath of San Antonio, TX, Cassi Millican and husband David of Early, TX; 10 grandchildren and 5 great grandchildren; and a host of family and friends.
