Many members received Perfect Attendance Awards, but those receiving 20+ year awards were, Roy Parrack, 26 years; Bill Pursch, 28 years; and Ricky Marks, 30 years. Morris Horton was awarded the Layperson of the Year, and Don Holland was awarded the Kiwanian of the Year award. Miss Allison Diez, Early High School Key Club, was awarded the Sophomore of the Year scholarship. In addition, a Special Recognition award was presented to Ms. Kate Black, PVKC member and Key Club sponsor, for her many years of tireless service to the kids at Early Middle School, as the Builder’s Club sponsor, and the kids of Early HS as the Key Club Sponsor. Mr. Jerry Sims, President of the Brownwood Kiwanis Club, made a generous contribution to the Pecan Valley Kiwanis Club.
