- On Monday, June 14 Deputy Andre Smoot met with the complainant regarding a scam. It was determined the individual was the victim of a scam through an email and purchased $12,400 in Gift Cards throughout the county. A report was completed and sent for further investigation.
- On Tuesday, June 15 Deputy Saydie Bradley took a report of a Public Nuisance.
- On Tuesday, June 15 at approximately 1:30 p.m. a complainant reported he has been receiving phone calls and letters from a collection agency regarding nonpayment for an online business. Complainant has not had any dealings with the online business and believed he was being scammed. Complainant later learned one of his bank accounts had been debited for the last three months for unknown transactions. A report was generated and forwarded to Criminal Investigation Division for follow up.
- On Tuesday, June 15 Sgt. Taylor Fletcher, attempted a traffic stop on a truck, with multiple lights out, in the 8800 block of Hwy. 279. The truck accelerated away to around 90 miles per hour. It weaved into oncoming lanes before finally stopping in about the 10000 block of Hwy. 279. The driver was arrested for Reckless Driving and Evading Arrest or Detention.
