There was a vehicle-pedestrian accident late Sunday evening at Flat Rock Park at Lake Brownwood.

According to information from the Brown County Water Improvement District, a four year-old child was apparently hit by a vehicle which was traveling at a very slow speed.  A medical helicopter landed at the scene to transport the child to a hospital for a head injury.  The helicopter left the scene at approximately 7:45 pm.  No additional information was available.
