The Corinne T. Smith Animal Center Board of Directors will hold a closed meeting at 5:30 p.m. Thursday, May 27 at the Adams Street Community Center.

Board member Travis Curry stated the following regarding the closed meeting, “We are so thankful so many are concerned about the Corinne T. Smith Animal Shelter and the well being of animals in our community. Because open meetings have become unproductive and volatile, we have determined that it is best to hold closed board meetings at this time as we strive to reconstruct the organization. Along with you, the board desires to make the CTSAS a productive and safe place for animals. The Animal Shelter is not under the open meetings rule as a non profit organization. We look forward to communicating in new, innovative ways that will better benefit the organization as a whole. Thank you for understanding.”
