Following an opening round 85 Monday, Garcia followed with a 91 Tuesday to finish with a 176 composite score. McGarrh carded a first-round 89 followed by a second-round 92 for a 181 total, while Farmer posted an opening 89 and a closing 93 for a 182 composite score.
Sydney McConnell of Mary Hardin-Baylor won the tournament by one stroke over Lindy Patterson of UT-Dallas. McConnell followed an opening 77 with a 74 in the second round for a 151 total. Patterson carded consecutive 76s to finish at 152.
As a team, UT-Dallas finished first with a 626 total following rounds of 306 and 320. The nearest competition was UMHB, 19 shots back in second place with a 645 after rounds of 324 and 321.
The Hideout will also be the site of next week’s ASC Men’s Golf Championships, slated for Monday and Tuesday.
