Holly Lynn McLain, age 44, of Coleman, died Tuesday, April 13, 2021 at Hendrick Medical Center South in Abilene.
A celebration of her life will be at 11:00 a.m. Saturday, April 17, 2021 at Stevens Funeral Home Chapel, 400 W. Pecan Street, in Coleman with Judge James King officiating. A reception will immediately follow at the Coleman High Rise dining room, 311 S. Commercial Avenue, in Coleman. Services are entrusted to Stevens Funeral Home in Coleman.
Holly was born August 17, 1976 in Salinas, California. She grew up in Paradise, California and graduated from Paradise High School. She then attended and graduated from Butte College in Chico, California. Holly became an aerobics instructor and taught classes at the Chico State University and Chico Sports Club. It was there that she taught aerobics to the San Francisco 49’ers football team. Holly then obtained her EMS license and became a paramedic. She worked for Enloe Hospital in Chico, California and then American Medical Response in Texas. Holly relocated to Coleman in 2014. It was then she met the love of her life, James Low. Holly had a wonderful spirit and giving heart. All who knew her will miss her.
Her father, James Souza, precedes Holly in death.
She is survived by her sweetheart, James Low; two sons, Matthew McLain and Joshua McLain both of Coleman; her mother, Jane Souza of Coleman; her aunt, Kay Allen and husband Andy of Santa Anna; and her uncle, Paul Forney and wife Amy of Jacksonville, North Carolina.
