The City of Brownwood issued the following public service announcement Thursday:
The City of Brownwood Development Services Department would like to remind residents Spring is at hand and it’s time to cut the grass. Well maintained yards are not only visually appealing, but can also help keep unwanted bugs and pests to a minimum as well as reduce fire hazards. Residents are strongly encouraged to keep grass and vegetation less than 12 inches tall, as outlined in City ordinances. Please do your part and be a good neighbor! Cutting the grass presents a positive image of Brownwood, which helps attract new businesses, residents, and visitors. Property not in compliance can be reported to 325-646-5331.
