Tommy Miller was born on February 18, 1942 to Thomas Jefferson Davis Miller and Myrtie Lee Slate Miller. Tommy was a deacon of the Hillcrest Baptist Church. Tommy had several jobs through the years, he was a chef at the White Sands Motel, salad chef at the Brownwood Hotel, a welder at Zagorski Mobile Liner, a driller on an oil rig, and also as a maintenance worker at Wayside Apartments and Little Dude Ranch.
Tommy is survived by two brothers, Jim Miller and wife Jane of Brownwood, Roy Miller and wife Betty of Cleburne; three sisters, Vonda Williamson of Early, Myrtie Fulton of Odessa and Caroline Wilkins of Odessa and numerous nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his wife Edith Miller in 2012, a son Thomas “Bubba” Miller, four sisters and a brother.
A special thank you to Hendrick Medical Center of Brownwood, Girling Home Health, Kindred at Home, Solaris Hospice, Meals on Wheels, Songbird Lodge, and a big thank you to his sister, Vonda Williamson for the excellent care that was given to Tommy.
Tommy passed away on Friday, March 26, 2021, in Brownwood.

A graveside funeral service for Thomas M. “Tommy” Miller, age 79, of Brownwood, will be held at 2:00 PM, Thursday, April 1, 2021 in the Rocky Creek Cemetery, under the direction of Heartland Funeral & Cremation Service. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Wednesday evening from 5:00 until 7:00 p.m.
