The City of Brownwood issued the following press release regarding Good Friday schedule alterations:

Brownwood City Hall, Landfill, Recycling-Center and other non-emergency facilities will close Friday April 2. The Landfill/Recycling Center will resume normal operating hours on Saturday April 3.  All other facilities resume normal operation on Monday April 5.

Residential curbside trash routes for the week will be collected as follows:

• Monday and Tuesday’s routes will be collected on regular schedule.
• Thursday’s route will be collected on Wednesday March 31.
• Friday’s route will be collected on Thursday April 1.

Please have your carts out by 7 a.m. to ensure collection. Call 325-643-4200 with questions or concerns.

Emergency services are available for water line breaks and sewer backups 24 hours a day, seven days a week by calling 325-646-6000.
