“I did a little research and I’m the first in 12 years here at Early to sign, so it feels really great,” Reigle said.
Reigle selected Clarendon over South Plains College in Levelland, Gulf Coast State College in Florida and Southwestern Oregon.
“It felt like home,” Reigle said of her decision. “It’s a small little town up there. A lot of the schools I was looking at were bigger towns, bigger cities, they didn’t have as much of what I’m used to. I just wanted to stay in a smaller town.”
Reigle stated the friendships she made at Early High School will be among her greatest memories from her playing days.
“Reagan Kirby and Savannah Holt are the best ones I ever met,” Reigle said. “I’ll just remember all the great memories. Early was a lot different because I came from San Angelo Central. It’s a different culture coming from a 6A to a 3A.”
Reigle, who intends to study Sports Medicine and Kinesiology, also has her eye on playing in Italy in the future.
“It actually came up after I agreed to go to Clarendon,” Reigle said. “I got an email from an Olympic development type of college where they help you develop into getting on a professional team. They introduce you to them, get you practicing with them, so that would be a great experience.”
