Meanwhile, Concordia knocked down 56 percent (40 of 71) of its shots, including 48 percent (12 of 25) of its treys, along with 75 percent (9 of 12) of its free throws.
Howard Payne – which trailed 53-42 at halftime – received 20 points from Michael House, 18 from Tyrell Thompson, 16 from Evan Adkins, 15 from James Helzer, seven each from Jerron Godfrey and Jaylan Ballou, and two points apiece from Isiah Thomas and Reese Ridder.
Concordia (4-6, 3-6) was sparked by 21-point night from Antoine Hernandez while others finishing in double figures included Luis Gonzalez with 17, Ethan Kieke with 11, and Grant Goosby and Tige Johnson with 10 points apiece.
The Yellow Jackets conclude their season at 3 p.m. Saturday at ASC West champion Mary Hardin-Baylor (14-3, 11-0).
