Billy Eldon Allgood

Billy Eldon Allgood, 80 of Brownwood passed away on Friday, February 5, 2021 peacefully at his home. Visitation will be held Monday February 8th from 6-8 at Heartland Funeral Home in Early. Funeral Service will follow on Tuesday February 9th at 2 PM in the Heartland Funeral Home Chapel with interment to follow at Indian Creek Cemetery.

Bill was born on Saturday, October 12, 1940 to Howard and Myrel Allgood in Brownwood. He attended Brownwood High School and enjoyed going to the class reunions. Bill was a hardworking man. He never met a stranger, and always had some tale to tell either childhood memories at Indian Creek, or hunting and fishing stories. He knew something about everything. Bill was the oldest of five children. He had two daughters, Rene’ Dever and Andra Allgood; two stepchildren Lonnie and Michelle; seven grandchildren; six great grandchildren.

He is preceded in death by his parents Howard Eldon and Gladys Myrel Allgood; his brothers, Wayne and Walt Allgood; a sister Arlene Allgood English; his wife Jackie and step-daughter Michelle.

Bill is survived by his children and grandchildren; brother Dwayne Allgood; sister-in-law Sharon Allgood; his first wife Roberta; many nieces and nephews; and a host of friends and neighbors.
