Brownwood Lion senior offensive lineman Brad Robinson on Thursday night signed a national letter of intent to continue his football and academic career at Hardin-Simmons University.
Robinson, one of the senior captains on the Lions football team in 2020, received honorable mention on the 5-4A Division I all-district team. Robinson helped pave the way for a Brownwood offense that averaged 26 points and 292 yards – 152 passing and 140 rushing – per game.
As a junior, Robinson was a first-team all-district selection as Brownwood averaged 36 points and 391 yards — 222 rushing and 169 passing.
The Lions finished their third season under head coach Sammy Burnett with a 4-6 overall mark, 2-2 in district, and advanced to the playoffs for the 12th year in a row.
