Lupe Acevedo, age 49, passed away on Monday, January 25, 2021, in Amarillo, Texas.

She was born on November 11, 1971, in Del Rio, Texas, to Domingo and Ramona (Constancio) Acevedo.  Lupe was a wonderful mother, sister, and aunt.  She was devoted to all her family and was kind to all she met.  Lupe was well known in Comanche and was always willing to lend a helping hand to anyone in need.  Her small stature never matched her big personality.  She enjoyed playing her slot games and scratching off lotto tickets.  Her warming smile and bold character will be greatly missed.

She is survived by her son, Miles Hatch Acevedo of Comanche; daughter, Crissy Acevedo of Comanche; sisters, Juane Garza and husband Wally, Gloria Zambrano and husband Ramon, and Vertha Alicia Rodriguez; brothers, Domingo Acevedo and wife Lupe, and Andres Acevedo; and numerous nieces and nephews.  She was preceded in death by her parents, Domingo and Ramona Acevedo; brother, Alejandro Acevedo; and grandparents, Jesus and Maxima Constancio.

Family will receive friends at Comanche Funeral Home on Thursday, January 28, 2021, from 6:00 P.M. until 8:00 P.M.

Funeral Services will be at 11:00 A.M. on Friday, January 29, 2021, at Comanche Funeral Home Chapel with Bro. Felix Gutierrez officiating.

Burial will be in Gardens of Memory Cemetery in Comanche County.

Condolences may be offered on line at www.comanchefh.com
