The office of District Attorney Micheal Murray issued the following press release Monday morning regarding felony cases recently heard in 35th District County by Judge Mike Smith:
- Landon Heath Jones, on probation for the offense of Obstruction or Retaliation, was revoked and sentenced to 10 years, Texas Department of Criminal Justice, Institutional Division. Further, Jones pled guilty to two separate felony offense of Sexual Assault and was sentenced to 2 years, Texas Department of Criminal Justice, Institutional Division.
- Jarred Lee Williams pled guilty to the felony offense of Aggravated Assault with Deadly Weapon and sentenced to 8 years, Texas Department of Criminal Justice, Institutional Division.
- David Wayne Cockroft pled guilty to the felony offense of Possession of a Controlled Substance – Drug Free Zone and was sentenced to 3 years, Texas Department of Criminal Justice, Institutional Division
- Troy Earl Crouch aka Troy Earl Crouch Jr. pled guilty to the felony offense of Injury to an Elderly and was sentenced to 3 years, Texas Department of Criminal Justice, Institutional Division.
- Alvie James Twomey, on probation from the felony offense of Burglary of a Building, was revoked and sentenced to 6 months, Texas Department of Criminal Justice, Institutional Division.
