On Wednesday, Jan. 6, Deputy Andre Smoot met with complainant at the Law Enforcement Center. This was referencing missing firearm. Smoot completed a report and firearm was entered stolen with dispatch.
On Thursday, Jan. 7 at about 12:43 p.m. Deputy Marvin Simpson spoke to a victim in regard to theft of her jewelry. The victim stated she had about 10 to 15 rings stolen from her bedroom sometime in the past four months. The victim named a suspect. The victim stated the overall value of the jewelry is approximately $3,500. A report was made.
On Friday, Jan. 8, Deputy Mike Sheedy responded to County Road 499 in regard to an unwanted person. Once on scene, it was determined the offense of Terroristic Threat had been committed against the victim. A report has been generated and forwarded to the Brown County Sheriff’s Office Criminal Investigation Division.
On Friday, Jan. 8 at approximately 5:30 p.m. Deputy Nicolas A. Wood received a credit card abuse complaint by telephone.
On Saturday,Jan. 9 at about 11:07 a.m. Deputy Byron Langley, arrived at the community mailbox located at the intersection of Lover’s Lane and Blarney Dr. in Brownwood. This was in regard to a theft. Langley spoke with a victim who stated someone had taken his diabetic supplies from the community mailbox.
On Saturday, Jan. 9 at approximately 11:32 a.m. Deputy Scotty Burke was dispatched to the intersection of CR 264 and CR 265 in reference to an illegal dumping report and investigation.
On Sunday, Jan 10 at approximately noon, Deputy Scotty Burke was spoke with a complainant by phone. This was in reference to someone using her identification information.
